12TH EDITION OF IN-STORE ASIA TO KICK OFF IN MUMBAI IN MARCH 2019

The 12th edition of In-Store Asia, a 3-day-long event comprising Expo, Conference and Awards, will be held at Bombay Exhibition Center in March next year. The event will include a new section called Tech village, while greater focus will be given to architectural materials and in-store tech.

The 12th edition of In-Store Asia, the largest retail event in the Indian Sub-continent, will take place between March 14-16 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. In-Store Asia will be featuring an Expo bringing all leading retail solution providers from India and beyond under one roof, Convention discussing the moot topics of Indian retail industry and design, Awards recognizing talents in retail design and visual merchandising. 

Thomas Schlitt, Managing Director, Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt. Ltd., shared, “In-Store Asia is the door-opener for exhibitors, providing direct access to the emerging mega-markets in Asia. The show is designed to offer ‘all- inclusive’ comprehensive solution to the retail industry.” 

The last edition of the event in 2018 witnessed the presence of 150+ exhibitors showcasing their products and services to 7579+ visitors and 240+ conference delegates. The floorplan and layout of the upcoming edition has already been announced by the organizers. As added attractions to the upcoming edition, the show will include a section called “Tech Village”, which will provide an access for start-up companies to the retail market in India. The greater focus will be given to attract companies into architectural materials and in-store tech.

On future plans around the event, Schlitt added, “With Asia’s retail industry growth continuing to dominate the global retail industry, we are planning to expand our promotion activities to SAARC and Middle East regions. For the coming edition, we have planned roadshows and industry meets in these regions inviting the buyers to attend the show.”
