After starting his advertising career as a trainee copywriter, Rob has worked and lived on five continents and is now the Global Chairman of ADK, based in Singapore. He’s worked at numerous agencies including McCann and Lowe in South Africa, JWT in London, eventually joining FCB in New Zealand as ECD ending up in Singapore as Asia Pacific Regional Chief Creative Officer – then taking up the CCO role at DraftFCB in USA.
Since 2014 Rob has helped lead ADK as the Group Chief Creative Officer, Global CEO and now Global Chairman and Executive Advisor. He’s judged at the major creative award shows and has spoken at various global communication forums, including the IAA, Spikes, Adfest and Cannes. Rob has been a board member and president of both agency and industry bodies in Asia, New Zealand and the USA. He’s passionate about helping develop the talent of tomorrow. His main focus is transformation, collaboration, and growth – making sure that the new wave of communication professionals are ready for the reality of what’s next.
