Ripa Rashid is the Executive Vice President at the Center for Talent Innovation and Managing Partner for Hewlett Consulting Partners

Ms. Rashid has worked across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. She is the co-author of Growing Global Executives: the New Competencies (Rarebird Press, 2015), Winning the War for Talent in Emerging Markets: Why Women are the Solution (Harvard Business Press, 2011), The Battle for Female Talent in Emerging Markets (Harvard Business Review), a series of BRIC country reports, and Asians in America: Unleashing the Potential of the “Model Minority.”

Ms. Rashid is an internationally recognized subject matter expert on gender, global leadership and next generation talent strategies. She has been invited to address audiences at leading global organizations and businesses, including the OECD, United Nations, World Bank, Asia Society, the Conference Board, International Women’s Forum, Future Work Institute, Pfizer, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Genpact and Standard Chartered.

Her publications also include numerous whitepapers on global talent, innovation and gender advancement strategies. She and her work have been featured by Fox News, Bloomberg, Newsweek, The Financial Times, The Economist, The Times of India, Hindustan Times, South China Morning Post and China Radio International, among other international media.

Ms. Rashid has held senior management roles at Time Warner, MetLife and the International Center for Leadership in Finance (ICLIF). She has over 10 years’ experience as a management consultant with leading global firms including Booz & Company (now Strategy&), PwC, and Mitchell Madison Group. Ms. Rashid holds an AB cum laude in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Harvard University, an MA in anthropology from New York University and an MBA from INSEAD. She has been an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs and a member of the Conference Board’s Global Council on Diversity and Inclusion, the Asia Society’s Corporate Council and is active in the INSEAD Alumni Association. Ms. Rashid has lived and worked in over a dozen countries across three continents and speaks four languages.
