The seminar was conducted by Dr. Habibur Rahman, Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Dhaka.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Photo-11.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2637 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Photo-11-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Photo 1\" width=\"329\" height=\"246\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Photo-11-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Photo-11-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Photo-11.jpg 1172w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 329px) 100vw, 329px\" \/><\/a>In the talk Dr. Rahman initially described the basics of  Solar Photovoltaic (PV) cells and power systems to the audience. He explained how PV power systems are initiated and how it can provide electricity through micro grid systems. He also described <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandbarsolar.com\/news\/microgrids\/\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">how a microgrid works<\/a> as well as his experiences of two PV Microgrid power systems setup in Chandpur and Barguna under the funding of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Bangladesh. In the talk he provided the information of how these two systems are serving electricity to the remote areas of Bangladesh.
