The event also marked the commencement of \u2018Young Marketers Competition Bangladesh\u2019. Both the competitions, held simultaneously, are initiatives of Bangladesh Brand Forum and The Daily Star, and organized in Association with Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The daylong competitions were held at The Daily Star Centre on 7<sup>th<\/sup> July.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">There were two winning teams (joint winners) for Young Marketers Competition \u2013 <strong>Team Shwapno<\/strong> (ACI Logistics Ltd.) and <strong>Team GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh Ltd<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YM.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8819\" src=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YM-1024x536.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"471\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YM.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YM-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YM-768x402.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">Members of team Shwapno were <strong>Zubayer Mahmud Hasan<\/strong>, Manager &#8211; Category Management and <strong>Mehjabin Badhon<\/strong>, Manager, Customer Satisfaction, PR &amp; Promotion. Members of team GlaxoSmithKline were <strong>Sajeed Alam<\/strong>, Future Leaders Program Trainee and <strong>Jasia Nuzhat Haider<\/strong>, Brand Manager.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">Winning team for Young Lions Competition was from the agency <strong>Lie to Eye<\/strong>. The members were <strong>Mashfique Khalid<\/strong>, Creative Lead and <strong>Pulak Das<\/strong>, Art Lead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YL.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8820\" src=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YL-1024x535.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YL.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YL-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/YL-768x402.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">As the reward of the competition, the winning teams will get to attend and represent Bangladesh at Spikes Asia 2018 in Singapore, which will be held in September.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">The theme for Young Lions Competition was \u2018In Search of the Most Creative Young Professionals\u2019, whereas for Young Marketers Competition it was \u2018In Search of the Ultimate Young Marketers\u2019. For both the competitions, a separate case was given challenging the participants to develop campaign\/solutions within 7 hours of time. For Young Marketers, the case was on Sweets of Bangladesh and participants were to develop a marketing strategy that would help brand Bangladeshi desserts globally. For Young Lions, the challenge was to develop an integrated campaign to create mass awareness about the hazards of drug abuse. The teams came up with some exciting campaigns and strategic solutions, highlighting proper utilization of digital and print media, ground activation and strategic cooperation among relevant stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">From 23 agencies, a total of 32 teams, each comprising of two members, participated in the Young Lions Competition. Whereas, Young Marketer Competition had 17 teams from 13 organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">Both competitions had a panel of expert jurors each. The jury panel for Young Marketers Competition had Ashraf Bin Taj, President, Marketing Society of Bangladesh; Aftab Mahmud Khurshid, Chief Marketing Officer, Bengal Group of Industries; Surayya Siddiqua, Head Of Marketing Communications, ICP-International Consumers Products Bangladesh Limited; and AKM Zabed, Chief Marketing Officer, Anwar Group of Industries. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/4.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8824\" src=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/4-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/4.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/4-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/bbf.digital\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/4-768x576.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">On the other hand,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: open-sans; color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\">Young Lions Competition had Moasser Ahmed, Country Marketing Manager, Coca-Cola Bangladesh Ltd.; Md.
