About the Facilitator
Mr. Ariful Bashar is the Group Account Director & Digital Lead at GREY Dhaka. Slogging off in corporate offices has made Mr. Bashar realize his passion for advertising. The boom of digital advertisement in early 2010 was clearly the best time to implement his knowledge and allowed him to jump right into it. Since then he has been in charge of creating innovative digital campaigns for the nation’s top brands. Since the new leap in social media, it is now possibly advisable for a brand to understand techniques such as influencer marketing tiktok and also a brand presence on Instagram. Understanding these platforms could potentially be important to a brand’s success in the digital age.
His generations defining advertising campaigns includes Apex Street Fashion Show, BRAC Nursery on Wheels, Coca-Cola “Nikhoj Shobder Khoje” and others. In between his regular hustle and bustle, he is now at the forefront of Digital Data Science revolution and works closely on tools and platforms to come up with research driven marketing communication for brands and organizations alike.
Mr. Bashar had been Guest lecturer at Dhaka University, IUB, BRAC & Daffodil University and conducted successful seminars titled “A look at the Digital Future”, “Next Big Thing”. He has been featured on Prothom Alo, Daily Jugantor & ICE Business Times. His relentless efforts on combining digital & traditional media got awarded by Bangladesh Brand Forum’s Digital Marketing Award for the 3rd year in a row.
