Long an identity for eternity

Amazon, you must have heard the name. If you are not someone living under a rock, you must know what the company does or what it stands for. But let me present a quick history of the company.

Amazon is an American multinational technology company founded in 1994, and it centres around e-commerce. It is somewhat impossible for a person, who keeps up with what happens around them, to look at the logo of Amazon and not immediately recognize it as the symbol of the billion-dollar company.

Amazon’s famous wordmark logo, at first glance may appear nothing special as it is pretty straightforward with the right amount of details that present the brand identity. The black and white, all lower case logo is easily legible. The orange arrow connects “a” to “z” with one swift move, just like your experience will be on the platform, and it also suggests how on Amazon, you can find absolutely every product you can imagine.

The arrow, which also sometimes is called “the smile”, means how the customers will be satisfied with the service, bringing a friendly touch to the logo design. The curve below the “z” where the arrow lands are gently curved bringing a motion to the design. The logo is an intelligent use by the brand, and by only looking at it, you can understand what the objective and the vision of the brand is and what kind of service they provide.

In many cases, the brand’s name is not even integrated into its design. But if it is a famous brand, it is safe to assume that most people on the planet would be able to recognize and name the brand that specific logo represents. A logo can reflect global recognition and world domination in the industry.

A good logo is integral to your marketing strategy. But first, we need to know what is a good logo. A good logo aligns and feels appropriate to the service you are providing. A professional services business usually uses a simple logo. The logo of a business should differentiate that company from everyone else. The logo must have a meaning built within it. A logo must reflect its brand’s belief system, purpose, mission, and vision are what that brand focuses on.

Logos are used to grab the attention of viewers and communicate the core values of the company in a creative way. Your potential customers are going to judge your business by its appearance, in other words, your brand’s logo. You would be smart to use this to your advantage and create a solid logo to represent your company. A logo introduces the company to consumers. A well-designed logo helps consumers learn more about the company.

A brand can try to be different with its logo because a different logo represents a unique business. All through a logo, you can tell the customers why your business is different and why they should choose your service over others, Use your logo to drive your brand’s unique and effective message home. Famous companies have followed this unspoken rule for years.

A well-designed company logo can communicate everything from the company’s background to its mission. Your logo is the medium to both convey to your consumers why you are not like your competitors, what makes you different, and why you are better.

A strong marketing strategy is a must for all kinds of businesses. In this modern digital world, you must present your company effectively to people on online platforms. Your logo design will have a significant impact on the marketing of your company. The logo of your brand will increase brand visibility among viewers,

which will end up promoting your business. Once a brand starts growing, the logo becomes more familiar. Familiarity creates the perception that you are trustworthy. For example, when we look at the apple icon with a bite taken from it on a product, we are instantly willing to buy it. Why? The reason is, you know, buying Apple products is a safe choice with guaranteed good quality. Apple is a brand you have confidence in; you trust the brand. Brand loyalty is quick to follow once trust is built on a well-designed logo. Once satisfied with your service or product, your customers are going to look for you through your logo.

Successful branding is all about telling a story that will influence the customers’ emotions. A logo design is a part of a company’s brand, and it also serves as the foundation for the narrative the brand is built on. Colours, tones, fonts, and all of your other choices depend on the story you wish to tell. Your logo is the base of that story. Your logo is the visual foundation of your brand

identity. People remember a catchy logo. So, designing a logo will not only represent your professionalism but also will signify something deeper, which is your accessible and trusting service.
