As a process of continuous improvement, Bangladesh Brand Forum introduces Tay Guan Hin, Founder & Chief Creative Officer of TGH Collective, as the first ever Jury President for the Grand Jury Sessions of upcoming Commward 2019.
Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF), in association with Cannes Lions – International Festival of Creativity, is going to initiate the 9th edition of Commward, which is the only accolade for the country’s advertising industry. This year, Commward will honor the most deserving campaigns in 23 categories.
Tay Guan Hin has been announced as an International Jury President for Commward 2019 to ensure the clarity and quality of Judgement in order to find the best creative communications and recognize them.
For over 25 years, Tay Guan Hin has helped global brands like Shell, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott, P&G, HSBC, Unilever, and other global brands improve market share and solve business challenges. He operates well within this complexity always matching flawless execution with inspiring creative ideas, staying true to the DNA of the brand. Guan is the true collaborator, a profound alchemist of creative success in a team working in the most creative agency worldwide networks, like JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett. Guan’s role continues to evolve: delivering insightful creativity that builds on digital and innovative engagement to increase brand preference. Guan was the Creative Director for JWT’s South East Asia region and plays role as a Consultant at Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia.
He has been fortunate enough to be recognized in Cannes Lions as a Jury President, D&AD Foreman, One Show Judge, Head of Jury Asia Pacific Effies, creative innovator, and a tank mechanic. As a thought leader, he is a sought-after keynote speaker in many global and regional conventions including Spikes Asia, One Show China, Brand Fest, Adfest, Brand Forum, AdStar, and Cannes Lions.
Guan devotes the same passion that goes into his work by mentoring young talents by setting up the first student awards in Singapore. He also spoke and trained students at the first 2004 One Show China and again in last year’s summit, including the Spikes Asia Young Academy 2018.
For Commward 2019, the campaigns launched and run during the period of April 01, 2018 to April 30, 2019 are eligible for nomination. The nominated campaigns will be selected through rigorous jury sessions comprising of the most respected marketing & brand experts to keep the process transparent, accountable and bias-free. As always, COMMWARD will recognize the best campaign in each category under three ranks: Grand Prix, Gold & Silver.
