Passion should be the core notion and essence of education. Educate yourself to understand EDITORIAL passion. Understanding the urgency of emotional intelligence is very crucial for self-development. Awareness is the key to believe that mental leadership is always the fundamental of independence. It doesn’t come naturally. We need to be aware with our instinct to be able to achieve the aptitude for introspection.

When education aligns with passion, the way to move forward becomes visible. When I was a child my parents made it sure that I got the same opportunity like other siblings. So as a daughter, I could feel the same amount of accountability to engage, contribute and pursue my passion through my education. Basic education never starts at school, rather it starts at home. Therefore, we all need to act as responsible parents.

Often, I am asked by individuals that how we can identify our passion. Passion is a process. Hence, we must realize our organic ability to get involved in the persuasion that gives us that strength to deal with our passion. It’s a deep practice that involve each woman every single day of their lives to be who they want to be. Being bold and courageous don’t come naturally, it need to be acquired by knowing yourself. Independence and leadership is not easy to achieve; but it’s not difficult to pursue. Perseverance and integrity lead to leadership. So, women need to be persistent for digging down their possibility, passion and mission. In today’s world, in the hyper-digital era, opportunity to facilitate your passion is not  a difficult thing. Certainly, it gets crucial if as a woman you Nazia Andaleeb Preema fail to understand the responsibility of your existence as an individual to contribute in broader spectrum. You must be keen to engage everywhere. You need to own yourself to be visible in  meaningful way to make a difference in this journey of leadership which WIL is offering.

Women in Leadership is a movement, not a revolution. We have to stand up to believe in our passion. Through emotional intelligence, it is really possible to achieve. We are homemaker, care-giver, decision-maker — we are already aligned with leadership qualities. Now we have to take it to the next level. Though we claim that we as women came long way, it’s not enough, not enough in families, in society, in profession, in country and in global platform. Number of women need to be increased in policy-making level. Women are creators in greater sense. They create incredible future through higher education which will shape up their passion. Be brave and do not negotiate for any circumstances.

WIL will always will be there for you as I personally believe we are yet to create our future which is sustainable and strong enough to change the mindset of our typical society that doesn’t really have the environment yet for women and their leadership!
