Job Brief:
We are looking for a skilled Content Lead to oversee daily content operations and tell the story of BBF. You will be reporting to the CEO and Executive Editor, collaborate with functional department and lead the content team. The role calls for working in a high-pressure dynamic environment while churning out top notch content consistently. Must have exceptional eye to detail and keep oversight of the activities of the content department. The Content Lead will work closely with the content team to generate engaging content for the company on the regular.
The ideal candidate should also be in tune with technology, brand and business trends, current affairs and ensures that the whole content department is up to date for production of relevant and relatable content.
Responsibilities:
-Writing, editing and proofreading content.
-Supervising a content team consisting of writers, graphic designers, videographers, etc.
-Managing content across all platforms, including print, email and social media.
-Develop content plan
-Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.
-Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
– Assist in evaluating finalized copy for compliance with policies, style and tone
– Resolve issues as they arise
– Attend events on behalf of the company
– Collaborate with our design team to bring ideas to life
Requirements:
– Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with exceptional writing and reading appetite. Journalism, Business, CSE background preferred
– Late work Hours
– Proven experience as Content Lead or relevant role
– Exceptional ability in copywriting and editing
– Proficiency in English
– Working knowledge of online platforms like WordPress and sound SEO knowledge
– Abilities in planning and coordinating people and operations
– Excellent organizational and leadership skills
– Outstanding communication and people abilities
– Illustration and Video Editing is an added advantage
-Proficiency with popular content management systems.
-Experience with social media management.
