Recently Bangladesh Fertilizer Association (BFA) has organized ”D8 International Conference”. This conference was held in BFA conference hall. There were delegates from seven countries- Malaysia, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt, and Indonesia including Bangladesh.

With a view to develop the ‘ fertilizer industry” of the members of D8 “D8 fertilizer association was formed. Which main purpose is help each other in production and in trade as well as to build a co-operative relationship.

Mr. Md. Moshsharraf Hossain Vuiyan NDC, ministry of industry was the chief guest of that conference. The whole conference was conducted by Mr Ashraf khan Poton MP, chairman of BFA and the special guests were Mrs Abida islam, DG (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Mr. Bijoy Vattcharge, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture.
