Amidst the growing alarming cases of the black fungus phenomena , Hyderabad headquartered pharmaceutical company MSN Labs has rolled out Posaconazole as a treatment. The treatment will be available in both tablet and injection forms.
India is currently witnessing one of the worst cases of COVID-19 and on top of that now- the black fungus. The announcement comes in as a ray of light to the already devastated Indian medical service industry.
With Posaconazole, MSN Labs hope to combat the increasing number of patients getting affected by this disease.
Priced at Rs 600 for each 100mg tablet, the triazole anti-fungal drug, the drug has been also approved by DCGI or Drug Controller General of India and has been launched under the PosaOne brand by MSN. Similarly, the injections have been priced at Rs 8,500 for each of the 300mg injection as stated by the firm.
