For the 6th time, the most exciting competition for marketing & creative professionals ‘Young Lions Competition Bangladesh: In Search of The Ultimate Creative Competitive Young Professionals & Ultimate Young Marketers’ has been held at The Daily Star Centre announcing three winners who will be representing Bangladesh at Spikes Asia 2022.
The prestigious Young Lions Competition Bangladesh 2021 has been organized in collaboration with The Daily Star, and in association with Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Strategic Partner of the event was Roaring Lions, Knowledge Partner- Marketing Society of Bangladesh.
A total of 42 teams comprising of two members each, participated in the Young Lions Competition 2021. Among them 18 teams participated in the Digital Competition, 15 teams in the Integrated Competition and 9 teams took part in the Marketers Competition. The three competitions were held simultaneously, For all three competitions, three distinct cases were given challenging the participants to develop campaigns/solutions within seven hours of time.
The teams explained their campaigns in 5-minutes presentations before the jurors. The Jury panel of the acclaimed competition included industry experts, seasoned professionals and thought leaders such as- Surayya Siddiqua, Head of Marketing, Grameen Danone Foods Ltd.; Shah Mohammad Didarul Hasan, Deputy General Manager, M M Ispahani Ltd.; Risalat Siddique, Man of Steel, Analyzen; Galib Bin Mohammad, Head of Marketing, Arla Foods Bangladesh; Ashraf-Ull-Bari, EVP & Head of Brands, bKash; Bitop Das Gupta, AVP & Strategic Planning Lead, Grey Group Bangladesh; Tajdin Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer, Daraz Bangladesh and Urfi Ahmad, Director, Brands & Communications, Banglalink.
After thorough and rigorous evaluation, the jurors announced the winning teams of three of the competitions. The winning team for the Digital Competition this year was Madmen Digital members of the team were- Zahid Alam Shovon and Md. Moazzem Mottakin. On the other hand, the winner of Integrated Competition 2021 was – Asiatic Mindshare The members were – Israt Anowar Tithi & Shaikh Nafis Fuad. For the Marketers Competition this year the winning team was- Dotlines; The members of the winning teams were: Farhat Chowdhury & Farah Amira Khan.
Young Lions competition was successful with the participation of aspiring and progressing agencies and organizations of the country. The competition was successfully organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum.
