Women In Leadership (WIL) takes their endeavor one step forward and brings out the first ever three-day long Women Leadership (WIL) Fest 2018 in light of International Women’s Day 2018 from March 08 – 10, 2018 at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) is one of the core partners in materializing the initiatives.
4th Inspiring Women Award (IWA) is one of the key components of the fest. Inspiring Women Award aims at recognizing the aspiring and leading women in the corporate sector of Bangladesh, under different categories, and hence identify inspiring role models for women. Also, WIL is giving recognition to the business organizations with the most female-friendly working conditions and policies. Recognizing the role models will inspire the other aspiring women to come forward and play their part in the national development stream.
WIL along with its partners will work for development and emancipation of female professionals subsequently through Bangladesh Women Professional Network (BWPN), and University Engagement for the Leaders of Tomorrow.
All the nominated female professionals will get automatic access to the 3rd Women Leadership Summit, where national and international speakers will share their thoughts, insight, and experience on women leadership and collective approach on how to overcome barriers on the career paths.
In addition to that, as post-award engagement, there will be a separate extensive workshop for the nominated professionals (Entry, Mid and CXO Level). The workshops will focus on skills development required for the professionals to go the next stage of their career.
Inspiring Women Award 2018 is the fourth edition of the endeavor. In the last three years, Women Award recognized 94 outstanding women leaders under different categories for their contribution to the corporate sector and the society as a whole.
This year, 4th Inspiring Women Award will recognize the contribution of inspiring and leading women under the above mentioned 15 categories.
