Asia Marketing Day 2021 is to be observed on May 27, 2021 (Thursday) by Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) and its member organizations from 17 countries, including Bangladesh.
The day calls for a double celebration as it coincides with the 90th birthday of the Father of Modern Marketing Prof. Philip Kotler on the same day.
The celebration will gather together leading marketing experts in a one-day conference to share global insights about the marketing industry, with keynote speeches, real-life case studies, and interactive sessions with Q&As. Mr. Prof. Boojong Kim, President, Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) will start the day with his opening remarks. Father of modern marketing Philip Kotler will address the participants of the conference. Harmawan Kartajaya, Founder of AMF will share the keynote on the theme of marketing day. The Conference will also have Prof. Yongjin Kim, President, Asia Council for Small Business (ACSB) for the 2nd keynote session of the day.
There will be three-panel discussions based on regions – East Asia, ASEAN, & South Asia. The topic of East Asian panel is “People Power Against Covid-19”, to be moderated by Mineo Hattori Director of the Japan Marketing Association (JMA). The ASEAN panel on “The ASEAN Pivot: ASEAN Brands Marketing Beyond The Pandemic” will be moderated by Faith Abano, Director, Philippines Marketing Association (PMA). Ashraf Bin Taj, President, Marketing Society of Bangladesh will moderate the South Asian panel on “Marketing Responsibility in Post COVID World” which will be represented by Prof. A. K. Enamul Haque, Director, Marketing Society of Bangladesh and Mr. Asif Iqbal, Board Member, Marketing Society of Bangladesh. The special guest of the session will be Prof. Syed Ferhat Anwar, 2nd Vice President, AMF.
AMF is a collaboration platform for all the marketing associations in Asia. Originally founded in 1991 as Asia Pacific Marketing Federation (APMF), it evolved into AMF in 2007. AMF’s critical mission to effectively promote the interests of marketing in Asia in general and strengthening the Asian marketing fraternity. Today, AMF boasts a membership of marketing associations and institutes from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
