IKEA PROJECTS PIXAR IN ‘CHANGE A BIT FOR GOOD’ CAMPAIGN

IKEA calls on consumers to bring eco-friendly changes to their lives through their new campaign ‘Change a bit for good’. The 60-second TV ad shows Pixar’s WALL-E-style robot struggling to fight environmental pollution in a futile attempt.

The protagonist robot is initially amped up to combat pollution but is repeatedly faced with setbacks that demoralize him, only to be greeted by his family at the end of the day who themselves make the conscious choice of sustainable living.
According to IKEA, they intend to democratize the concept of sustainable lifestyle with this campaign as it is still deemed suitable to only the privileged category and exhibit how profoundly simple it is.

Created by Mother, the TV ad is now streaming across UK and Ireland, and is also set to run in the US and Netherlands.
