Asif brings 14 years of diversified leadership experience across supply chain, finance, manufacturing management, and business operations in the mobile device and electronics sector. His strong cross-functional background—spanning business controlling, operational strategy, and end-to-end supply chain planning—positions him to play a pivotal role in driving Salextra’s next phase of growth.

He previously worked with Salextra as a Business Controller, where he played a key leadership role in establishing the Nokia mobile manufacturing and assembly plant—a major national milestone. His achievements include developing investment cases, leading CAPEX planning, designing financial structures, and ensuring the project was delivered on time and within budget.

Asif’s industry journey also includes impactful roles at CEVA Logistics (Netherland), Cellular Mobile Pte Ltd and Union Limited (Bangladesh), where he consistently demonstrated excellence in strategic planning, performance management, and operational optimization.

He holds a Master’s degree in International Supply Chain Management from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and is an ACCA-qualified finance professional from the London School of Business & Finance. His training in Power BI, Managerial Leadership, and expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) further strengthen his data-driven and modern leadership approach.

In his role as Chief Business Officer, Asif will lead Salextra’s overall business strategy, strengthen manufacturing and distribution performance, and oversee operational excellence across all business units—including mobile device manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and corporate partnerships.
