SINGER RETURNS TO PROFIT IN Q2, 2026

Singer Bangladesh Limited, a subsidiary of Beko, the flagship of Türkiye’s Koç Holding, reported a strong operational recovery in the second quarter of 2026, returning to profitability while continuing to strengthen its long-term manufacturing and growth strategy.

The company recorded revenue of Tk 8.4 billion during the quarter, representing a 3.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Improved operational efficiency resulted in a significant turnaround, with Profit Before Tax reaching Tk 141 million, compared with a loss of Tk 279 million in the corresponding period of 2025.

The improved performance reflects the resilience of Singer Bangladesh’s core business despite a challenging operating environment shaped by global geopolitical uncertainties, fuel price adjustments, seasonal market conditions, and slower economic activity. Other key financial indicators, including Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Net Operating Cash Flow Per Share (NOCFPS), also improved during the quarter, while Net Asset Value (NAV) predictably decreased.

Singer Bangladesh continues to invest in building a stronger and more competitive manufacturing base for the future. Its global-standard Green Factory at the Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ), spanning more than 135,000 square metres, is enabling over 90% local manufacturing, strengthening domestic supply chains, reducing import dependency, and enhancing production efficiency.

The company has also successfully commenced exports from its manufacturing facility and expects export volumes to scale up further during 2026, reinforcing Bangladesh’s position in the global manufacturing value chain.

These investments reflect Singer Bangladesh’s long-term commitment to sustainable industrial development, innovation, and value creation. While strategic investments continue to influence short-term financial indicators, they are laying the foundation for stronger operational performance, greater export competitiveness, and sustainable returns for shareholders.

Looking ahead, Singer Bangladesh remains focused on accelerating growth through product innovation, enhanced customer experience, expanded local manufacturing, and export development. Backed by its multi-brand strategy and continued investment in Bangladesh, the company remains confident in its ability to create long-term value for customers, shareholders, and the national economy.
