WALTON TO STRENGTHEN FOOTHOLD ABROAD BY EXPANDING TO NEPAL, INDIA, UAE AND SOUTH KOREA

Leading Bangladeshi electronics and automobile company Walton has publicly broken the news of expanding to India, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, and South Korea. Their stocks have experienced an increase of 2.97 percent to Tk 1,286 crore following the revelation, on the Dhaka Stock Exchange website.


According to Walton, they are already exporting their products to these regions but making the decision of expanding their foothold will yield a stronger market share overseas.
This will also improve their sourcing of technologies, R&D, and overall quality of the products they churn out.


Currently, Walton has a workforce of more than 20000+ in total 22 production bases under 680+ acres of factory area.


The Bangladeshi-originated industry giant embarked on its journey in 1977 and started manufacturing refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, compressors and expanded its operation in television, home & electrical appliances.
