There is no alternate to verse ourselves in this new sector of economy that boosts financial operations utilising the power of technology to keep up during unprecedented times.
An initiative of Bangladesh Fintech Forum and organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum, the 1st ever Bangladesh Fintech Award 2021 aims to recognize the organizations and initiatives that are driving change to modernize the financial industry of Bangladesh harnessing the power of technology and innovation. The accolade will honor the remarkable contributors of fintech transformation in Bangladesh who have reveled even during unprecedented times, minimized the gap between the physical and digital world and inspired thousands during the process.
This year, on October 30th, the 1st ever Bangladesh Fintech Award will unveil and celebrate the ones who have revolutionized the fintech frontier of our country.
The 1st ever Fintech Award 2021 is coming with the following categories:
- Fintech innovation of the year- BANKS
This category will recognize excellence in implementation of banking technology areas and innovative use of emerging technology in banking.
- Fintech innovation of the year- INSURANCE
This category will recognize Insurance companies that use innovative fintech to assist in the insurance claims process, policyholder experience and business outcomes.
- Fintech innovation of the year- MOBILE MONEY
This category aims to determine the most advanced, diversified & user-friendly use of technology among the Mobile Financial Service providers.
- Fintech innovation of the year- PAYMENT
This category aims to reward the most innovative vendors and solutions in the highly dynamic fintech & payments market, following a year of unprecedented market acceleration.
- Fintech innovation of the year- NBFI
This category represents the most innovative uses of technology that have a significant impact on product and service dimensions of Non-Banking Financial Institutions.
- Fintech innovation of the year- TECH
This category will recognize the most technologically advanced and breakthrough innovation in the financial industry.
- Fintech innovation of the year- REMITTANCE
This category defines the most cost-effective, efficient, advanced, user-friendly and easily accessible use of fintech for cross-border fund transfer.
- Fintech innovation of the year- FINANCIAL INCLUSION
This category recognizes a company who has developed digital products to ensure financial inclusion among the unbanked.
- Fintech innovation of the year- DIGITAL LENDING
This category will recognize consumer or business lending fintech which offers a new or significantly improved service that implements technology to bring benefits to either lenders and/or borrowers, or lending marketplaces. Judges will be looking for an innovative use of credit modelling, data elements and/or an improved user experience, or volume growth. Submissions are now open.
