In a market flooded with noise—campaigns that trend today and disappear tomorrow—there is one question that continues to separate real brands from temporary attention:
Which names do people truly trust, choose, and carry into everyday life?
On Saturday, December 20, 2025, that question took center stage at Le Méridien Dhaka, where Bangladesh Brand Forum, the largest platform of brand practitioners and enthusiasts in Bangladesh, hosted the Best Brand Award 2025—marking the award’s 17th consecutive year of celebrating the brands that have earned lasting consumer love.
This year’s gala was not just a celebration. It was a mirror held up to the marketplace—revealing what Bangladesh values, what it relies on, and what it continues to embrace across changing times.
A celebration of 45 categories—and 61 moments of recognition
At the ceremony, 45 brands were honored under 45 distinguished categories, reflecting the breadth of Bangladesh’s consumer economy—from essentials and lifestyle to services that power daily routines.
The night also recognized the Overall Top 15 Most Loved Brands of Bangladesh, identifying the brands that rose above category boundaries to become household constants. Additionally, the **Most Emerging Brand of Bangladesh—AMA Coffee—**was recognized during the gala event.
In total, 61 awards were presented at the Best Brand Award 2025. And for each of the 45 categories, the names of the 2nd and 3rd Most Loved Brands were also announced—offering a broader picture of competitive strength and consumer preference across the market.
Bangladesh Brand Forum organized the 17th edition of the Best Brand Award in partnership with nSearch Ltd.
“Branding is nation-building”: the message that framed the night
Inaugurating the gala ceremony, Shariful Islam, Founder and Managing Director, Bangladesh Brand Forum, said:
“Brands today shape aspirations, influence culture, and fuel economic progress. As consumers evolve, brands must stand for responsibility, innovation, and meaningful impact. Tonight, we honor those who not only win in the marketplace but also improve daily life for millions. Branding is nation‐building—and I hope this recognition inspires bigger ambitions, braver ideas, and greater value creation for Bangladesh.”
The statement carried a powerful reminder: in Bangladesh today, brands are no longer only competing for shelf space or screen time. They are competing for something far more valuable—relevance in people’s lives.
The Top 15: where love meets everyday life
In the Overall Top 15 Most Loved Brands of Bangladesh, local brands have continued their dominance—a strong signal that homegrown names are not only surviving competition but leading it with deep consumer connection.
This year, bKash secured the top position, while RFL Houseware and Radhuni secured second and third place, respectively.
The other winners, from 4 to 15, are:
4.Ispahani Mirzapore Tea
5.Grameenphone
6.Shwapno
7.Fresh Atta/Maida/Suzi
8.Close Up
9.Sunsilk Shampoo
10.Maggi 2 Minute Noodles
11.ACI Pure Salt
12.Parachute Advansed
13.Pran Mango Juice
14.Mojo
15.Rupchanda Fortified Soyabean Oil
Look closely at the list and a story emerges—not of luxury, but of life. These are brands found in kitchens, in living rooms, in school bags, in shopping baskets, on mobile screens—brands that show up not occasionally, but consistently.
In many ways, the Top 15 doesn’t simply reflect market leadership. It reflects daily dependence—the brands that consumers keep returning to, year after year, because they feel familiar, reliable, and worth choosing again.
Seventeen years of continuity: why this recognition holds weight
This one-of-a-kind yearly recognition has been ongoing for 17 years, with the aim of acknowledging brands that have reached a meaningful level of business value and contribution to consumer life.
Bangladesh Brand Forum launched the Best Brand Award in 2008 to inspire and honour the country’s most loved brands. Now, after more than a decade of continuous establishment, this successive accolade has become the signature and leading branding recognition in Bangladesh.
The objective of the Best Brand Award is to demonstrate and celebrate the success of brands achieved through sustained and effortful initiatives.
That last phrase—sustained and effortful—may be the most important takeaway. Because in branding, consistency is often harder than creativity. And endurance is harder than visibility.
The science behind the spotlight: a nationwide study across eight divisions
To pick the best brands of the year, nSearch Ltd. conducted and guided a comprehensive study.
The survey for the 17th edition of the Best Brand Award was conducted across eight divisions of Bangladesh, covering both urban and rural areas. A total of 12,400 interviews were conducted, with equal participation from males and females.
The research approach was based on two key considerations:
In‐category evaluation based on Brand Equity Index through a distinct model
Cross‐category harmonization with a multiplicative model to align category‐relevant parameters across segments
The data collection method was based on online and self‐administered interviews. The study covered 45 categories.
Asif Mahamud, Director, nSearch Limited, delivered a detailed speech describing the Methodology of the Best Brand Award 2025—reinforcing the research foundation that makes the award meaningful not only to marketers, but also to business leaders looking for signals of real consumer strength.
What the 2025 winners reveal about the Bangladesh consumer
Beyond the applause and stage lights, the Best Brand Award is ultimately a consumer story. And the 2025 results reveal four powerful truths about the Bangladesh market:
1) Trust is the strongest currency
In uncertain times, consumers reward brands that deliver with confidence—brands that feel dependable, consistent, and credible.
2) Local brands are winning on relevance
The continued dominance of local brands suggests that “made for Bangladesh” is not a tagline—it’s a competitive advantage built through insight, distribution, and cultural fit.
3) Everyday categories still build the deepest love
From tea to salt to noodles, love often grows in routine. The brands that win repeatedly are those that become part of habits—not just purchases.
4) Emerging brands can rise fast when they meet a new expectation
AMA Coffee’s recognition signals that Bangladesh’s consumers are still open to new names—when those names deliver value and build equity quickly.
A recognition that reflects the market—and inspires it
The Best Brand Award has always been about more than trophies. It is about benchmarking belief—a structured way of understanding which brands have built equity strong enough to cross category boundaries and enter the national conversation.
As Bangladesh moves forward—toward a more competitive, more connected, more demanding consumer economy—the gap between brands that “sell” and brands that are “loved” will only widen.
The brands celebrated on December 20 have proven that love is not accidental. It is earned through performance, presence, and purpose.
And as the opening speech reminded everyone in the room, when brands rise, they do not rise alone.
Branding is nation-building.
Methodology for Best Brand Award 2025
To capture the overall ranking of brands within a category and across categories, nSearch Ltd. has done an evaluation based on two key considerations. For in-category evaluation, the Brand Equity Index, consisting of Brand Salience, Consideration, Preference (Favorite Brand), Recommendation, Willingness to pay Price Premium, Emotion, Brand Fit, and Relevance have been measured and weighted by MOUB (Most Often Used Brand) and Brand Repertoire. For overall comparison, the Multiplicative Model has been used to harmonize across categories on category-relevant parameters – Category Involvement, Role of Branding in that category, Brand Differentiation, and Innovation.
CROSS-CATEGORY METRICS USED
Multiplicative algorithm and application of weights on the following cross-category metrics to arrive at final ranks:
< Category Involvement -To decode consumers’ involvement in the category: high/medium/low involvement categories. A 10-point scale is used to understand underlying differentiation
< Role of Branding in each Category – level of brand loyalty vs. repertoire vs. price/convenience-seeking consumers in a category*
< Brand Differentiation – How differentiated the Brand is vis-à-vis. Competitions.
< Brand Innovation – How innovative the brand is, setting trends in the market.
