University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Australian Academy of Business Leadership (AABL) jointly organized a seminar on “Capacity Building and Opportunity for PhD Scholarship in Australia” from January 15 – January 16, 2016 at ULAB Campus.

Dr. Afzalur Rashid, Senior Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Southern  Queensland, Australia, was the trainer of the two-day long seminar. As there many PhD scholarship opportunities in Australian universities, the seminar was focused on building the capacity of faculty members, motivating them to enroll in PhD programs, and providing hands-on training in writing PhD proposals.

The faculty members of ULAB, BRAC University, State University of Bangladesh, East West University, Jagannath University, Royal University Dhaka, United International University, American International University of Bangladesh, Daffodil International University all participated in the seminar.

The seminar was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of ULAB, Professor Imran Rahman. The seminar was concluded on 16 January by handing over certificates to the participants. Professor H M Jahirul Haque, Pro Vice Chancellor of ULAB handed over the certificates and delivered his vote of thanks.
