Tajdin Hassan, Head of Marketing, The Daily Star was one of the Lecture Series Speakers at the recently held Bangladesh YouthFest. Mr. Tajdin Hassan inspired the students with his insightful session where he talked about the recent trends in global branding scenario and shared his thoughts on how to be more prolific in this highly competitive job market.
He started his session with updating the attendees about the current data on internet usage and how it is changing rapidly. Relating with his own student life’s experience he pointed out the vivid change in the skills required by the market. He then talked about the top brands ranked by prominent media associations. While almost 60% of the brands are tech-based ones, the only saving grace to survive in this digital era is being up-to-date with tech, he added.
Bangladesh YouthFest completed its first season in early May of this year with two-day festival at North South University. Starting its journey in February 2016, Bangladesh YouthFest engaged students from seven divisions of the country. In addition to day-long Career Talk, Innovation Showcasing and interactive Lecture Series, extensive ideation competition were held in each division.
